Day in Naples and Pompeii

This was a great day. It was super hot but very interesting. Mt. Vesuvius seems to be rumbling a little bit the last few years, so they have taken out a lot of the frescoes etc. that used to be in Pompeii. There is still a lot to see. We left Ana's camera on the step in the theater. We of course realized it right away and ran back . . . it was gone! We asked everyone we saw and found a college student from the US who had given it to a tour guide who . . . was short, had brown hair, and he spoke Italian. We are in southern Italy!!! Anyway, it was returned to lost and found with in a half hour, Lucky, lucky! After Pompeii was the climb up Vesuvius. Its steaming! Then to Naples. What chaos! It is the dirtiest scariest looking city I've every been too, however, we never felt unsafe and quite honestly, the nicest people we've met so far!
