Day Two in Tokyo

What a fabulous and exhausting day. We started the day at 4:30 so that we could get the the fish market and see the action. It's one of the largest wholesale and auction fish markets in the world. AMAZING is all we can say. The last picture is of some unknown creature. If anyone can identify them let me know!! The rain started in earnest after we finished at the market.

What is this?

It rained pretty steadily the whole day. We kept at it anyway! We went to the Sensoji Temple (a Zen Buddhist Temple) It was covered with scaffolding. That happens to us on every trip. At least one major site is covered. Oh well it was beautiful anyway.

At the gate.

Nicholas getting his fortune

Next it was on to Ginza to the Sony building and their showroom of future products. After lunch the kids wanted to do a little shopping . . . Nicholas at Tower Records "most amazing record store ever". Ana at Shibuya 109. 109 is a tall building with 109+ clothing stores totally geared towards teenage girls!!!!! She did find a very cute dress for an upcoming party. We ended the day at Joyopolis by Sega. Think Gameworks on steroids. Virtual reality and 3-D games on three different stories.
